Collector
reels 1 & 6
Gathers all Coin values in view, without removing them.
The second chapter of the Hot Rocket series is a far bigger machine than the first: six reels, 4,096 ways, Collectors that cash in Coins, a spin counter that unlocks multipliers, four rocket bonuses and five jackpots. Here is how every piece works, with A$ examples and an honest word on its 94.15% RTP.
BGaming released Hot Rocket Mega Potz on 26 October 2026. The jungle and the volcanoes from Hot Rocket 5x 3x 2x are back, but the grid has grown to six reels and four rows. Wins pay left to right on consecutive reels from reel 1, and only the highest win per combination is paid.
The regular symbols are low-value 10, J, Q, A and K plus five fruit-machine picks: 777, bell, cherries, horseshoe and watermelon. The extras do the heavy lifting — Wild, Collector, Coin, Jackpot token, Bonus symbol and four X-Potz rockets.
BGaming rates the volatility medium-high. A win lands about once every 3.55 spins on average, and free spins about once in 250. Before release, bigwinboard put the mega potz slot on its Pulse list with a score of 92 and a “Hot” tag (#330) — early interest, nothing more.
At an AUD casino the stake runs from A$0.20 to A$40 over 18 levels, so the max bet is A$40.

Coins carry a cash value of 0.2× to 0.3×, 0.5×, 1× to 3×, 5×, 10×, 15× or 20× the bet. On their own they pay nothing. Collectors appear only on reels 1 and 6, and when one lands it adds up every Coin value on screen and pays the total. The Coins stay where they are, so if both outer reels show a Collector in the same spin, the Coins are collected twice.
A quick A$ example: at a A$1 stake, Coins of 5× and 1× with one Collector pay A$6; the same screen with two Collectors pays A$12.

reels 1 & 6
Gathers all Coin values in view, without removing them.

0.2× to 20×
Waits on the reels for a Collector to cash it in.

reels 2–5
Substitutes for paying symbols; in bonuses it can carry ×2 to ×5.
Wilds land only on reels 2 to 5. They stand in for every symbol except Collectors, Coins, Jackpot tokens, X-Potz rockets and Bonus symbols, so they help ordinary ways wins but never complete a collect. Every X-Potz bonus adds multiplier Wilds worth ×2, ×3, ×4 or ×5.
This is the feature that rewards patience. The base game counts your spins, and every 50 spins it unlocks a Collector multiplier: ×2 after 50, ×3 after 100, ×4 after 150 and ×5 after 200. Once a range is open, each Collector carries a random multiplier inside it, so after 100 spins a Collector shows either ×2 or ×3.
From spin 200 onward every Collector carries something between ×2 and ×5. A collect of 6× the bet at that point is worth 12× to 30×. Keep in mind that the counter only shows progress — it does not make the next spin more likely to win.

The Bonus symbol can land on any reel. When it does, it lights a flame under that reel and the reel stays active. Light all six and a random X-Potz bonus starts. Progress is not lost if free spins begin another way — any rocket can also trigger a bonus — and buying a feature does not reset it either.
The level you get decides how many spins you play and how much the Collector multiplies every Coin it gathers.

9 free spins · Collector ×2
The shortest round, with every collect doubled. The usual starting point for a Bonus Boost.

12 free spins · Collector ×3
Three extra spins and a tripled collect on each Coin screen.

15 free spins · Collector ×4
One step from the top. Boosting here risks dropping back to Green.

18 free spins · Collector ×5
The maximum. Reaching 18 spins starts the round straight away.

When a bonus is awarded you can start it as it is or try a Bonus Boost. Win the gamble and the round moves up one level, with more spins and a higher Collector multiplier. Lose and it drops one level. Either way you may boost again or start.
The bottom step is 6 spins with no Collector multiplier, and losing there forfeits the bonus entirely. Reaching 18 spins starts the round automatically. Treat Bonus Boost as a side bet on a round you have already won.

Five jackpots sit above the reels. Four of them start low and can grow when their Jackpot token lands in the base game; the Max is fixed.
A Jackpot token either raises a jackpot or starts the Jackpot Wheel. Collecting six tokens during an X-Potz bonus starts it too. On the wheel, three sections must match to win that jackpot, and the round keeps going until one is won, so the wheel always pays something.
BGaming notes that jackpot values are not tied to bet size and do not reset when you move your stake up or down.

Offshore sites that take Australians usually leave these options switched on. All three cost real money on every use, so know the price before you tap.
100× bet
Starts a random X-Potz level straight away. At a A$2 stake that is A$200 for one round.
200× bet
Goes straight to Red: 18 free spins with a ×5 Collector. At A$2, it costs A$400.
+40% per spin
Doubles your chance of the bonus while the base bet stays the same; a A$2 spin becomes A$2.80.

A bonus buy gets you into the round faster and at a higher price. It is not a shortcut to profit: a bought round can return much less than it cost. Set a limit before you open the buy menu, and leave Ante off if your budget is tight.
The official demo build shows an RTP of 94.15%, which is below the 96% or so that most pokies sit at. Over a very long run that is about A$94.15 back for every A$100 staked, versus A$96.10 on Hot Rocket 5x 3x 2x. A single session can still finish well above or below.
A Hot Rocket Mega Potz casino may run a different build, so always open the info screen and read the RTP before playing for real money. Steps and a side-by-side are on the RTP and max win page.
